The Republic of Malawi / Delivery of Power Transformer for 
    The Project for the Improvement of Substations in Lilongwe City

On June 28^th 2023, 5 power transformers for the captioned project were delivered to 2 substations in Lilongwe city. On the same day, ESCOM held press conference at Bingu International Conference Center.

【For Kanengo Substation】
  ① 132/66/11 kV 50MVA Transformer 1 unit
  ② 66/33 kV 25MVA Transformer 1 unit
  ③ 66/11 kV 25MVA Transformer 1 unit

【For Old Town Substation】
  ① 66/33 kV 25MVA Transformer 1 unit
  ② 66/11 kV 25MVA Transformer 1 unit

We continue to implement the safety site work until the project completion March, 2024.
