The Republic of Rwanda / The Project for the Improvement of Water Supply Services in the North-Central Area
We have contracted a set of water supply monitoring system for “The Project for the Improvement of Water Supply Services in the North-Central Area” which Tobishima Corporation has contracted with Water and Sanitation Corporation of The Republic of Rwanda.
The water rate in Kigali is still about 34%, therefore the improvement of challenges, such as insufficient water distribution capacity and water leakage prevention measures, are needed.
By improving water supply system, this project aims to provide a stable water supply by reducing water leakage and easing water supply restrictions, thereby contributing to the improvement of Rwanda's social services (sustainable provision of safe water and sanitation services).
We will be in charge of supplying a complete set of water supply monitoring equipment and on-site installation. Through this project, we will contribute to the SDGs Goal 6 "Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.", Goal 9 "Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and innovations.", and Goal 11 "Make cities and human settlements inclusive safe, resilient and sustainable.”
