The Republic of Uganda / Contract of The Capacity Development Project for
Improvement of Protection of Transmission Systems
We have contracted the captioned project with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Due to the increasing trend of power demand caused by economic growth in Uganda, electricity outage and failure in transmission line and substation are the serious issues. In this project, we aim to improve the stable power supply by installing the monitoring system and analyzing software.
Through this project, we contribute to the SDGs goal 7 “Affordable and Clean Energy” and goal 9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”
