Completion ceremony for The Project for The Introduction of Renewable
Energy and the Improvement of Power System (GPL lot) / Republic of Guyana
The completion ceremony was held at Canefield substation site located 100 km away from Georgetown, the capital of Guyana, with attendance of Filip vice-foreign minister and Hirayama ambassador on 27th September, 2021.
Although we had to stop all construction works because of the COVID-19 pandemic for a period of time, we have finally completed the GPL lot.
We contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SGDs) 7 : Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all, through this project.
