The Republic of Uganda / Completion and Handover Ceremony for The Capacity
     Development Project for Improvement of Protection of Transmission Systems 

Regarding the captioned project which we contracted in April 2022 with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), we have completed all works in July 2023.

On July 11^th 2023, Handover Ceremony was held at Lugogo substation.
At this ceremony, Mr. Hidemoto FUKUZAWA (Japanese Ambassador), Mr. Yoichi INOUE (Chief Representative of JICA), Dr. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu (Minister of Energy and Mineral Development), and Mr. Joshua Karamagi (CEO of UETCL) made speeches and they visited electrical room of Lugogo substation to check the installed equipment.
